Evan and I are so pleased that you are taking charge of what needs to be done to receive a transplant. You are such an amazing person. We include you and your family in our prayers everyday. With Love

It is true that nothing compares with seeing our children succeed and become adults. But the feeling that stops you in your tracks is when your children, who you have been helping and comforting for years, actually reach out and provide support and comfort to you. I think it is the sweetest most satisfying joy. Perhaps it is how the Lord feels when we do things well.

Hi Marshall,

I have very much enjoyed reading your blog. I only wish I had known about it sooner. It has given me more of a window into what you are going thru. I love you.

After leaving we did have a conversation with Dr. Lucey's nurse regarding our frustration on the lack of answers regarding Quality of Life issues. She conveyed this frustration to Dr. Lucey and he did follow-up personally with each of us the next-day and try to clarify a few of the issues. This did help and was greatly appreciated.
